CapCon Building Ltd is an established construction contracting company trading together with group companies as Alder Homes. Due to immediate requirements, we are currently recruiting a Site Manager who will work alongside the Construction Director to deliver residential housing units at Cluain Dara, Derrinturn, Co. Kildare.
You will be joining the business at a key time of growth and developing your career with exciting projects. The position will require a self-motivated individual with significant management skills and experience.
Your Responsibilities
- Health & Safety compliance
- Management of structures through to finishing trades and subcontractors
- Liaising with Quantity Surveyors, H&S agents, engineers etc.
- Scheduling weekly work programmes
- Providing clear leadership abilities and direction to the site team
- Attending weekly site meetings with up-to-date reporting on all site-based activities
- Ensure all records – management activities adhere to Institutional policies and legal requirements
- Policy adherence
- Project administration
- Effectively prioritise areas of work and meet strict deadlines
- Aware of corporate objectives
- Communicate well at all levels
- Keep up to date with all current legislations and proposed changes to regulations
Your Skills & Experience
- Trade or technically qualified
- Proven track record in the residential / apartment construction area
- Thorough knowledge of the construction industry and broad knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Effectively prioritise area of work and meet strict deadlines
- High level of organisational and time management skills
- Flexibility and capability to adapt to a changing work environment
